Steve Donegin (Rod Taylor) is an insurance salesman and former Green Beret dealing with the loss of his family in a plane crash in Ireland. Heading to Ireland to investigate the crash, he teams up with a journalist (Joanna Pettet) who is working on the story. The two discover that the crash wasn't an accident and the intended target on the plane was a scientist working on a secret formula.
